Norm Wamer, host of The Front Row with Norm Wamer on the all-sports station WLQR 106.5 FM The Ticket, and program director of WLQR-FM and WLQR 1470 AM, a mostly conservative talk-radio format, was let go Monday, according to
The Toledo Blade.
Andy Stuart, regional vice president and marketing manager for Cumulus Media/Toledo declined to comment about Wamer's employment termination, but said to expect "announcements coming soon regarding the future of" WLQR-FM.

Wamer had been with Cumulus Media for a total of 18 years, including 14 years as program director of WLQR-AM.
The 50-year-old Wamer said he wasn't any reason for the termination.
