He was 69-years-old.
Ivers was mid-day host in Cleveland for 23-years on Country WGAR 99.5 FM and Classic Hits WMJI 105.7 FM until 2005.
He also worked at WBT 1110 AM Charlotte in the early 70s, where he also hosted the Saturday Night Oldies Show. He also worked at WJAR Providence.
