Alan Kasper, Dan Zarrow
Alan Kasper, Chief Meteorologist for WKXW 101.5 FM New Jersey 101.5, and Townsquare Media New Jersey, announced his retirement Monday, after 25 years with the station.

For a generation, Alan has been THE weather authority for the state of New Jersey.  He is a legendary forecaster – from his broadcast TV days in New York City to his 25 years with New Jersey 101.5.   Alan has often stood alone in accurately forecasting some of the worst weather New Jersey has ever seen.  His precise track of snowstorms, hurricanes, and other major weather events have allowed residents to properly prepare and undoubtedly saved lives.

“A generation has grown up listening to Alan Kasper to find out if they had school the next day,” said Eric Johnson, Brand Manager for New Jersey 101.5 FM Radio, “While other media incessantly hypes the weather, Alan’s calm demeanor and friendly delivery delivered peace of mind to New Jersey residents.  His dedication to bringing this critical information to our listeners is unmatched in the industry.”
