The former KISS-FM DJ Toledo pled guilty in 2011 to theft and breaking and entering in relation to the break-in of a Perrysburg pizza restaurant that he once owned. At the time of his initial plea, Zepeda was given intervention and ordered to undergo treatment for alcoholism with the promise that if he stayed out of trouble his conviction would be erased.
The intervention included an order for Zepeda to avoid establishments that serve alcohol. He was ordered to serve 30 days in jail and 5 years of community control.
In December 2012, Zepeda was discovered to have violated his probation by attending a boxing charity event that had sold liquor.
