L-A Radio: Ariana Grande Skools Power 106 On Equality

Ariana Grande appeared on KPWR Power 106 FM evening show, where DJs Justin Credible and Eric D-Lux asked things like, “If you could use makeup or your phone one last time, which one would you pick?”

Grande used the appearance to give the guys a little lesson in feminism. “Is this what you think girls have trouble choosing between?” she answered. “Is this men assuming that that’s what girls would have to choose between?”

And when they said that men wouldn’t use the new unicorn emoji, Grande responded, “You need a little brushing up on equality over here… Who says a unicorn emoji isn’t for men? Come on.” They continued to chastise her and Grande countered: “All right, I’ve changed my mind. I don’t wanna hang out at Power 106 anymore.”

Later, when they asked her what she would like to change about the world she said, “I have a long list of things I’d like to change. I think just sort of judgment in general; intolerance, meanness, double standards, misogyny, racism, sexism, all that sh–. There’s lots we need to get started on, we’ve got work to do!” She paused, “We’ll start with you, though.”
