San Barnardino Radio: Kevin Callahan New K-FROG PD

Entercom has announced Kevin Callahan as the new Program Director for country station K-FROG (KFRG-FM/KXFG-FM) in Riverside. K-FROG, the Inland Empire’s Only Country Station, recently expanded its reach to 93.1 JACK FM HD2 in Los Angeles.

“We are excited for Kevin to lead K-FROG stations in Riverside,” said Michael Valenzuela, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Entercom Riverside. “His vast award-winning industry experience and leadership in audio and marketing innovation will help raise the bar for our team.”

“I’m honored to be afforded the opportunity to expand my role with Entercom in the Riverside market,” said Callahan. “I’ve been fortunate to oversee programming efforts for 103.7 KSON and I look forward to taking K-FROG to new heights in the next chapter of my career.”

Callahan now oversees programming efforts for all Entercom Southern California country stations. He continues in his role as Program Operations Manager for sister stations 103.7 KSON (KSON), 97.3 The Fan (KWFN-FM), ALT 949 (KBZT-FM) KYXY 96.5 (KYXY-FM) and Sunny 98.1 (KXSN-FM) in San Diego.

Callahan has nearly 30 years of experience in the radio industry. Prior to joining Entercom in 2010, he served as Regional Vice President of Programming for Pamal Broadcasting, where he oversaw programming strategies for radio stations in New York, Vermont and Florida.
