Eddie 'Piolin' Sotelo, Spanish-language radio's top
personality is no stranger to controversy -- with the cancellation of his
nationally syndicated morning radio program, “Piolin por la Mañana,” and sexual
harassment allegations from his former Univision co-workers, many feathers have
been ruffled along the way.
Mexican-born Sotelo was recently featured by People enEspañol, "where he offered an in-depth conversation about his family and
the damage the accusations have had on his personal life," The Latin Post
reported.
“I never mistreated or harassed any of my colleagues,” he
said. “And if these were misinterpreted jokes, they never came from me.”
Sotelo, who will launch a new entertainment channel
exclusively on SiriusXM Latino, anchored by his own daily, morning-drive show,
"El Show de Piolin," is getting amped up for the show's arrival soon.
On Sept. 27, Sotelo posted a picture of his new studio at
SiriusXM Latino on his Facebook page, where the center of operations for
@Sirius XM Latino will take place, reiterating that fans can listen to him at
home, in the car, cell phone, I-pad, computer, work, wherever you go, 24 hours
a day, all week.
