WNBA Finals Draws 1.5M Viewers

The 2025 WNBA Finals, with the Las Vegas Aces sweeping the Phoenix Mercury, averaged 1.5 million viewers over four games, the second-highest since ESPN’s exclusive postseason rights began in 2003, just behind 2024’s 1.6 million.

Despite a less competitive series compared to 2024’s 2.15 million for Game 5, viewership doubled 2023’s 728,000 average.

The postseason averaged 1.2 million viewers, up 5% from last year, despite Caitlin Clark’s absence. Nielsen’s Big Data + Panel model and out-of-home viewership metrics boosted numbers. Game viewership: Game 1 (1.9M, ESPN), Game 2 (1.2M, ABC), Game 3 (1.3M, ESPN), Game 4 (1.4M, ESPN).
