FOX News Channel (FNC) averaged 2.7 million viewers in weekday primetime during the week of October 6 leading CBS (2.2 million viewers) according to Nielsen Big Data + Panel. Year-to-date, FNC continues to lead all broadcast networks with Monday-Friday primetime viewers.
In Monday - Sunday total day (6 AM-6 AM/ET), FNC posted 1.5 million viewers and 148,000 in the 25-54 demo. The network commanded 64% of the primetime and 63% total day cable news audience. FNC drew 97 of the top 100 cable news telecasts for the week.
The Five averaged 3.7 million viewers and 325,000 in the 25-54 demo, leading cable with viewers. At 6 PM/ET, Special Report with Bret Baier drew 2.7 million viewers and 271,000 in the 25-54 demo. The Ingraham Angle saw 2.5 million viewers and 238,000 in the 25-54 demo at 7 PM/ET. Jesse Watters Primetime commanded 3 million viewers and 300,000 in the 25-54 demo at 8 PM/ET. At 9 PM/ET, Hannity posted 2.6 million viewers and 258,000 with A25-54. At 11 PM/ET, FOX News @ Night secured 1.4 million viewers and 162,000 in the 25-54 demo.
FNC’s late-night hit Gutfeld! (weekdays, 10 PM/ET) averaged 2.7 million viewers and 297,000 in the 25-54 demo continuing to outpace the broadcast competition including ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! (2.1 million viewers), NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon (1.4 million viewers) and Late Night with Seth Meyers (838,000 viewers).
FNC continued to see its daytime programs outpace the broadcast competition. The Will Cain Show (weekdays, 4 PM/ET; 2.2 million viewers), Outnumbered (weekdays, 12 PM/ET; 2 million viewers), America’s Newsroom (weekdays, 9-11 AM/ET; 1.9 million viewers) and The Faulkner Focus (weekdays, 11 AM/ET; 1.9 million viewers) each outpaced CBS Mornings and The Story (weekdays, 3 PM/ET; 1.9 million viewers) and America Reports (weekdays, 1-3 PM/ET; 1.9 million viewers) led NBC’s Today with Jenna and Friends (1.4 million viewers), ABC’s GMA3 (1.3 million viewers) and NBC News Daily (1.2 million viewers).

On Saturday: Kayleigh McEnany’s Saturday in America (Saturday, 10 AM - 12 PM/ET) was the most-watched show of the day with 1.4 million viewers and 112,000 A25-54. FOX & Friends Weekend (weekends, 6-10 AM/ET) followed with 1.2 million viewers and 104,000 A25-54. In primetime, Life, Liberty & Levin (weekends, 8 PM/ET) and My View with Lara Trump (Saturday, 9 PM/ET) each drew 1.1 million viewers.
On Sunday: Maria Bartiromo’s Sunday Morning Futures (Sunday, 10 AM/ET) was the number one show of the day with 1.6 million viewers and 100,000 A25-54. The Big Weekend Show (weekends, 5-8 PM/ET) and Sunday Night in America with Trey Gowdy each drew 1.3 million viewers. The Sunday Briefing (Sunday, 11 AM/ET) anchored by senior White House correspondent Jacqui Heinrich garnered 1.3 million viewers and 93,000 A25-54.

- “World News Tonight” beat “NBC Nightly News” (5.630 million, 787,000 and 535,000, respectively) by 1.562 million Total Viewers, by 14,000 Adults 25-54 and by 49,000 Adults 18-49.
- “World News Tonight” increased its lead over “NBC Nightly News” week to week in Total Viewers (+2% – 1.562 million vs. 1.534 million) and Adults 18-49 (+88% – 49,000 vs. 26,000), posting its largest overall viewer lead in 5 weeks — since w/o 9/1/25.
- “World News Tonight” (7.192 million, 801,000 and 584,000, respectively) defeated “CBS Evening News” (3.555 million, 422,000 and 314,000, respectively) in Total Viewers (+102%/+3.637 million), Adults 25-54 (+90%/+379,000) and Adults 18-49 (+86%/+270,000).
📺BROADCAST MORNING NEWS
- “GMA” saw gains from the previous week in Total Viewers (+4% – 2.781 million vs. 2.666 million), Adults 25-54 (+6% – 497,000 vs. 469,000) and Adults 18-49 (+3% – 333,000 vs. 323,000), standing as the only morning newscast to increase across the board. In addition, “GMA” attracted its largest overall audience in 5 months and best Adults 18-49 performance in 6 months — since weeks of 5/5/25 and 3/31/25, respectively.
- For the third time in the three weeks of the season, “GMA” improved on the year-ago week in Adults 18-49 (+11% – 333,000 vs. 301,000).
- “GMA” narrowed its Adults 25-54 gap with “Today” week to week by 12% (67,000 vs. 76,000).
- “GMA” cut its margins with “Today” from the same week last year by double digits in both Adults 25-54 (-65% – 67,000 vs. 191,000) and Adults 18-49 (-94% – 9,000 vs. 158,000).
- On Wednesday (10/8/25), “GMA” turned in its most-watched telecast (2.922 million) in 5 months — since 5/13/25.
- On Thursday (10/9/25), “GMA” ranked No. 1 leading “Today” across the board: Total Viewers(+126,000 – 2.776 million vs. 2.650 million), Adults 25-54 (+10,000 – 548,000 vs. 538,000) and Adults 18-49 (+76,000 – 380,000 vs. 313,000).
- “GMA” (2.781 million, 497,000 and 333,000, respectively) beat “CBS Mornings” (1.881 million, 299,000 and 206,000, respectively) in Total Viewers (+900,000), Adults 25-54 (+198,000) and Adults 18-49 (+127,000). “GMA” led “CBS Mornings” in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 for the last 1,395 weeks overall — since w/o 1/18/99.
- Nightly News delivers its closest demo gaps vs. ABC in six years for the current season
- Nightly News increases its A25-54 viewership vs. last week by +12,000 and its A18-49 viewership by +10,000
- Nightly News narrows across-the-board gaps vs. ABC vs. last year, including by 95% in A25-54 , 77% in A18-49 and 16% in total viewers
