Peoria Radio: Dr. Chris Michaels Named WXCL PD

Midwest Communications/Peoria has announced the return of  Dr. Chris Michaels returns to Country WXCL 104.9 FM as program director and PM Drive host.

Michaels previously programmed the Country outlet for 12 years, since its re-launch in 2006 and he returns from Country WIBL 107.7 FM The Bull in Bloomington, IL.

Even though Michaels was gone from Peoria, he continued tracking afternoons on WXCL.

Michaels said, "I'm thrilled to return to Peoria as Brand Manager of 104.9 The Wolf and excited about rejoining such a strong team. I'd like to extend my thanks to Mike Wild and Randy Rundle for the opportunity to come back to program such an impactful radio brand."
