Indy Radio: Personality Zachary Babb Arrested For DUI

Indianapolis radio personality Zachary Babb was arrested late Friday after a suspected alcohol-fueled crash with a local chef and restaurant owner in Fountain Square.

Babb, 29, was taken into custody on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated after a crash reported around 10:30 p.m. Friday at an intersection near the Speedway.

Babb, known by his listeners as "Zakk On Air" on Top40 WZPL 00.5 FMwas intoxicated and driving a 2016 Chevrolet Equinox when he crashed into and damaged five other vehicles, according to the Indy Star.

One of the listed victims in the report was Neal Brown, chef and owner of Pizzology, Stella and The Libertine Liquor Bar.

No one was hurt in the crash.  It is unclear if Babb is still employed by WZPL. The website no longer lists him on the host page or the WZPL daily schedule.
