Atlanta Radio: Scott Gaines Joins WKHX For PM Drive, APD

Cumulus Media has announced that it has appointed radio programming professional and on-air personality Scott Gaines as Afternoon Host and Assistant Program Director for Country radio station Kicks 101.5/WKHX in Atlanta, GA.

Gaines moves from Cumulus Media-Memphis, where he was Afternoon Host for Country station Kix 106/WGKX. Gaines will debut on Kicks 101.5 on September 5, 2017. His show will air weekdays from 3pm-7pm. In addition to his new role at Kicks 101.5,

Gaines has over 20 years’ radio experience and was previously Afternoon Personality for Cumulus Media-Dallas’ Country station, 95.5 NASH Icon/WSM-FM. He was also Afternoon Drive Host, Assistant Program Director and Music Director for 106.7 THE FOX/WDTW-FM in Detroit, MI. Gaines holds a B.A. degree in Communication/Radio/Television from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
