St. Louis Radio: Dana Loesch Makes Cover of Guns&Ammo

Radio talker and pundit Dana Loesch will be the first woman to grace the cover of Guns & Ammo magazine since 1961 in its upcoming June 2015 issue.

The Washington Times reports Loesch met Saturday with hundreds of fans for a book signing at the National Rifle Association’s annual meeting in Nashville, where she unveiled her Guns & Ammo cover.

The only other woman to ever appear on the magazine’s cover was Jeanne E. Bray, a police officer killed in Ohio and “an accomplished shooter,” Ms. Loesch described on her website.

“A scholarship was established for the children of fallen police officers in her name,” Ms. Loesch wrote of Bray. “She is the only woman to appear on the cover of Guns and Ammo (November 1961) … until now. I’m honored and humbled that Guns and Ammo asked me to be on their next cover. Thanks to Guns and Ammo for the honor and much respect to those who serve, like Officer Bray.”

In October 2014, Loesch released Hands Off My Gun: Defeating the Plot to Disarm America. Reviewing the book, Kelly Young of the National Rifle Association's American Rifleman wrote, "Hands Off My Gun is recommended reading, regardless of whether you’re a proud supporter of gun rights, an ardent gun control proponent or somewhere in-between. Viewer discretion is advised, however, as Loesch also relates in the book many of the threats and insults that have been hurled at her over the years by members of the 'tolerant Left'.
