The Recording Academy has revised the 2025 Grammy Week event schedule to focus on impactful events in response to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles. The 67th annual Grammy Awards telecast on CBS will still be held on February 2, with a renewed purpose of raising funds for wildfire relief and honoring first responders. The Recording Academy and MusiCares have raised over $2 million in emergency aid for music professionals affected by the wildfires.
Many traditional Grammy Week events have been canceled or repurposed to maximize support for those affected by the crisis. Non-Academy-related events, including major music company parties, have been canceled or postponed. This situation is reminiscent of the 2021 and 2022 Grammys, which were revised due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Recording Academy and MusiCares CEO Harvey Mason Jr. emphasized the importance of supporting the community during this difficult time. Grammy Week 2025 will focus on using the power of music to help rebuild and support those in need. The revised schedule for Grammy Week events, each with a fundraising element, is as follows:
Friday, 1/31
- MusiCares Persons of the Year Charity Gala honoring the Grateful Dead
Saturday, 2/1
- Special Merit Awards Ceremony & Grammy Nominees Reception
- Clive Davis’ & the Recording Academy’s Pre-Grammy Fundraising Event
Sunday, 2/2
- 67th Annual Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony & Telecast
