Jacobs Media Hosting Free Webinar on January 21st

For the 17th year, Jacobs Media spent the first week of the year at CES® (formerly known as the Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas, hosting its curated tours for broadcasters. Since 2017, Jacobs has led these tours of the latest and greatest technology at “the most powerful tech event in the world.” Along with over thirty leaders from commercial, Christian, and public radio (and over 140,000 others from around the globe), Fred and Paul Jacobs explored the future at CES®, while identifying how technology will change and impact their business.

“Not surprisingly, Artificial Intelligence has overtaken CES®, and while its impact is currently being felt at many stations, we haven’t seen anything yet,” noted Paul Jacobs. “It was everywhere this year.”

To help everyone who works in media gain a better understanding of where technology is going and how it will affect broadcasters in the coming year, Jacobs Media is once again hosting its annual free webinar on Tuesday, January 21st at 2pm ET – CES® 2025: The AI Version. Hosted by Fred and Paul Jacobs, along with Chris Brunt, this one-hour webinar will summarize and showcase what we saw and experienced during an action-packed week in Las Vegas.

The webinar is designed for all broadcasters - programmers, marketers, digital pros, and advertisers who wish to learn more about the current and future state of media in an AI-driven world. It will cover how this technology is impacting everything from content creation and media placement, along with all aspects of our lives and our careers. The Jacobs team will also share how AI is impacting robotics, life at home, and how accessing and consuming content will change in a fast-moving future. And yes, attendees will also see the sights and sounds of CES® including cars, health, home grilling, and more – without leaving their offices or conference rooms.

"Compared to shows from the past decade or so, this was a much different CES®," said Fred Jacobs, president of Jacobs Media. "In the past, much of our focus was on the changing dashboard in cars. But this year, we witnessed a major pivot as attention focused on the world of AI – less hardware and more software. Broadcasters need to understand how this technology works and how it is impacting the industry today and down the road.”
