Will The Grammys Postpone?

The 2025 Grammys are facing uncertainty due to the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.

Scheduled for February 2 at the Crypto.com Arena in downtown LA, the event may be postponed or transformed into a fundraiser.
Discussions are underway to either reschedule the ceremony or reframe it into a live fundraising broadcast. A senior TV executive believes it's "highly likely" the show will be postponed, considering the active wildfires and disaster status in LA.

The Recording Academy is exploring multiple options, including a benefit concert potentially in collaboration with MusiCares. Live Nation, the Azoff family, and AEG Presents have announced a January 30 event at the Intuit Dome, with participating artists and broadcast partners yet to be confirmed.

The Grammys have faced postponements before, such as in 2021 and 2022 due to COVID-19. This time, the wildfires have complicated logistics, with hundreds of hotel rooms needed for attendees and artists. Many in the music industry have been directly impacted by the fires, and some musicians have lost their instruments.
