All three of Apex Broadcastings radio stations were off the air last Tuesday and Wednesday due a glitch that happened during a computer upgrade.
According to the stations' general manager Mike Buxser the stations, owned by Hilton Head Island-based Apex Broadcasting, went down shortly after midnight Tuesday and were off the air for more than 24 hours because of an Internet upgrade.
Adult Hits WVSC-103.1 FM and Classic Hits WLHH 104.9 FM The Surf were back on-air by Wednesday morning but a third station, W293BZ 106.5 FM "Easy" remained off the air until Wednesday around 9:45 p.m.
