Richard Sherman |
He got their attention again for then patting Crabtree's backside -- earning a shove in the face in return -- and making a choking gesture towards the 49ers bench, drawing a foul for unsportsmanlike conduct.
But Sherman really got everyone talking and lit up Twitter with a rant during a post-game interview with Fox reporter Erin Andrews, declaring: "I'm the best corner in the game. When you try me with a sorry receiver like Crabtree, that's the result you gonna get. Don't you ever talk about me!"
He later apologized to Andrews, but said, "I was making sure everybody knew Crabtree was a mediocre receiver." Crabtree said after the game, "Sherman made a good play. That's probably the only play he made all game. I ain't getting into that, he knows what time it is. When we're on the field, he ain't doing nothin'. That's one play, you know what I'm saying?"
Sherman said later that his issues with Crabtree were about something that happened in the offseason, stating, "He said something personal face to face. He knows what he said and he knows I'm going to be tough on him the rest of his career."
So Russell is a class act! Sherman on the other hand.... If he played baseball would get a high and tight fastball.
