Once in a century might be more like it as the time slot has been hosted by one man or another named John Gambling for the better part of 88 years.
Elliot Segal and his team, will continue to be heard Washington DC’s WWDC – DC101 – and Richmond’s WRXL, however, the morning show will be based in NYC.

“I'm excited to be coming back to New York, to a station with such a legendary history,” said Segal. “We have built something very special in Washington, DC and Richmond and I'm beyond thrilled that the show will continue airing on DC/101 and XL-102. Now, WOR will be home to Elliot In The Morning and I couldn't be more anxious to get going.”

Elliot in the morning...............HORRIBLE.....BEYOND WORDS!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWho..... really...... cares..... what...... you...... think
DeleteElliot in the morning is so truly bad it's a wonder anyone anywhere will listen to his drivel and incessant moronic giggling. How Clear Channel management could choose to destroy their crown jewel morning show property in the NYC market by airing this tripe will someday be a case study of "groupthink failure" in a business textbook.
ReplyDeleteI know nothing about broadcasting and I honestly believe I could retain more listeners than this show did. Basically all of WOR's morning audience has left and WOR's thunderous 50kw signal is going out into free space.
Clear Channel - please email me when this guy and his band of fools is gone for good. You disrespected John Gambling's legacy and your listeners by subjecting us to this nonsense.
