So says New York Market Radio Association Executive Director Debbie Beagan.
Shereported Thursday that the number-one market was up big in 2013, posting a 6% revenue gain over 2012.
December was also up, posting a 5% jump.
Beagan stated, “New York radio is healthy, vibrant, and strong. Advertisers and their agencies are investing in our medium, and utilizing radio’s audio, online, mobile, and social platforms to reach engaged and loyal listeners. The robust revenue results for the 2013 and December position the market well as we head into 2014.”
