Journal Names Tom Langmyer VP/GM In Milwaukee

Tom Langmyer

Journal Broadcast Group named Tom Langmyer vice president and manager of Journal Broadcast Group's Milwaukee radio stations WTMJ 620 AM and WLWK 94.5 FM, it was announced Wednesday.

He previously was vice president of news and talk.

Langmyer joined Journal Broadcast in August. Previously, he was vice president and general manager of WGN 720 AM in Chicago, and KMOX 1120 AM in St. Louis.

Last week, Journal Broadcast announced a groupwide reorganization that split responsibilities of its broadcast operations, with the radio division in Milwaukee and the television division in Nashville, Tenn.

Steve Wexler, who had been executive vice president of radio and television here and general manager of WTMJ-TV, is now in charge of Journal Broadcast's entire radio division of 35 stations in eight markets.

Langmyer will report to him.
