Nashville Radio: Bones Starts On WSIX

Nashville will hear a new voice coming from the radio starting today. The Bobby Bones Show will make its debut on The Big 98 WSIX.

"So pumped to be on The Big 98 WSIX, which is really cool because it's the biggest country radio station in the whole world," Bobby Bones told newschannel5.com.

Bones had been a top 40 morning radio DJ in Austin for the last ten years. His show was syndicated to 20 cities across the country.

Clear Channel approached Bones late last year about moving to Nashville and taking over the morning drive show on The Big 98.

"Because I'm just a southern boy from Arkansas who loves country music, who they said we want you to be in Nashville and be the biggest guy in country, for country," according to Bones.

Bones agreed to make the move, but wanted to bring along the cast from his show, which he thinks makes The Bobby Bones Show stand out on the radio dial.
