R.I.P.: Mark C Williams, Veteran News Broadcaster

(1952-2023)
Longtime news broadcaster Mark C Williams died Monday in Bloomsburg PA. He was 71-years-old and affectionately known to colleagues as Mister News.

He worked as a newscaster for WALB TV in Albany; radio and television in Binghamton, New York; Grand Island, Nebraska; Albany, Georgia, and Daytona Beach, Florida. He also worked with Nancy Grace and was on her show. He was preceded in death by his father Cary Williams, who worked at WNAK Nanticoke, PA, WBRX Berwick, PA and WCNR Bloomsburg, PA

Mark loved auto racing in any form, working for MRN (Motor Racing Network), where he directed the races for the NASCAR Truck Series and also worked in assisting MRN for other NASCAR races. He was a big railroad fan.
