Two radio legendary personalities at iHeartMedia's WHAM1180 passed away over the weekend.
Jack Palvino was a beloved local personality here in Rochester for decades, and later went on to co-own WHAM1180. He was 90 years old.
Longtime personality Allan Harris has also died, after battling a long illness. He spent many years on TV and radio. As an on-air personality here at WHAM1180, he was best known for his essential work during the 1991 ice storm.
Jack Palvino was one of the Rochester broadcasting greats. With his passing, an era comes to an end. I was honored to know him and work for him and feel of his goodness and love.
