Houston Radio: KRBE Radiothon Raises $164K+ For Miracle Net

Cumulus Media’s 104.1 KRBE, Houston’s #1 Hit Music station, presented the 3rd annual “Houston’s Little Heroes” community fundraising event on Thursday, December 5th to benefit Texas Children’s Hospitals. The successful effort raised a total of $164,012.32 in funds for the Texas-based charity.

Texas Children’s Hospital, a not-for-profit health care organization, is committed to creating a healthier future for children and women throughout the global community by leading in patient care, education, and research.

104.1 KRBE’s “The Roula & Ryan Show” kicked off the daylong event with a live broadcast from Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, which continued throughout the day with Afternoon Drive on-air personalities Kevin and Audrey. 104.1 KRBE listeners heard poignant and uplifting stories from hospital staff, patients and families sharing how Children’s Miracle Network has improved the lives of children facing medical emergencies and hospitalization.
