Reynolds was let go from his morning sports-talk radio show "Sports Reporters" on KWTO Jock 98.7 on March 30.

"In all my 51 years of being here, it is the longest I have ever been without something to do," Reynolds said. "That took a little bit of adjusting."

The Cave broadcasts the Kansas City Chiefs locally, and Reynolds said their move to bring him in shows they're trying to become a little more sports oriented.

"They have pretty good motivation," Reynolds said. "I'm very happy, very happy."

Reynolds, a Missouri Sports Hall of Fame Legend, retired from KY3 in 2014 after 48 years with the local NBC affiliate.
