Worcester Magazine’s Best of Worcester Awards are determined by readers who vote for their local favorites each year. 104.5 WXLO has been honored by the magazine as Best of Worcester “Radio Station of the Year” previously, and has been nominated on many occasions.
Lance Ballance, Operations Manager, Cumulus Media-Worcester/Boston, and Program Director of 104.5 WXLO, said: “The cash prize is considerably less than the Nobel Prize, but we are ecstatic for Jen, nonetheless! Seriously, we are so proud and excited for her.”
Carter said: "I am so excited to have won Worcester Magazine's best on-air personality of the year. I appreciate the support of all of the XLO listeners and my amazing co-host Frank Foley. It's truly been an honor to wake up New England for the past 17 years."
