The radio personality on WMBD 1470 AM is now in acute rehab, according to Jamie Markley, his partner on the Robbins-Markley weekday afternoon radio program.
“Scott knows he has a ton of work ahead but he’s ready for it,” noted Markley on a recent Facebook post.
Robbins suffered a massive heart attack in August that required triple bypass surgery.
Robbins, 54, took over the afternoon talk show slot on the AlphaMedia Station in 2010 but has worked in radio for more than 35 years.
He started on the air on Peoria’s WIRL 1290 AM at the age of 17.
