The event at the Stub Center in Carson ran nearly six hours starting at 4pm Saturday. West, as the headliner, was granted 40 minutes. Every other performer got no more than 20 minutes, with some on stage for 10 minutes — enough time for two songs and a plug for their next album.
Other acts included were Calvin Harris, Nick Jonas, David Guetta, Meghan Trainor and Ne-Yo. Sia, Jason Derulo, Tori Kelly and L-A locals Echosmith.
Ryan Seacrest hosted the show.
