Mike Kaplan Moving To LA To PD At CCM+E KYSR

KYSR-FM 98.7 FM , LA’s Rock Alternative, announced Monday that Mike Kaplan has been named Program Director. Kaplan will oversee all on-air and digital programming for 98.7. starting May 6.

He joins Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Los Angeles from Entercom Seattle, where he most recently served as Program Director at 107.7 The End KNDD-FM and 103.7 The Mountain KMTT-FM.

Kaplan also previously served as PD in Kansas City and New Orleans.

Kaplan replaces Julie Pilat who relinquished PD duties at 987FM in December to focus on her APD/MD duties at sister Top 40 KIIS 102.7 KISS-FM.
