Frank Lenzi has been appointed as the News Director at KIRO Newsradio in Seattle. With nearly three decades of experience, Lenzi transitions from KNWN (formerly KOMO Newsradio), where he served as Program Director and News Director for 16 years.

Throughout his career, Lenzi has managed significant news events, including the 2009 Lakewood Police shooting, the fatal KOMO TV helicopter crash in 2014, and the police dispersal actions during the 2020 Seattle CHOP Zone protests. His background in journalism includes roles such as morning editor and managing editor.
Bonneville Seattle Senior Vice President and Market Manager Cathy Cangiano expressed enthusiasm about Lenzi's appointment, noting his proven leadership and dedication to journalistic excellence.
