Cleveland Radio: Q104 Supports Food Bank with Request-A-Thon

Audacy Cleveland’s Q104 (WQAL-FM) hosted the second annual Request-a-Thon and helped the Greater Cleveland Foodbank provide 38,556 meals to local families. The Greater Cleveland Food Bank ensures that everyone has the nutritious food they need every day.

“Supporting our local community is at the heart of everything we do. We couldn’t make an impact without our generous listeners who took initiative and donated to Q104’s Request-a-Thon.” said Jeff Miller, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Audacy Cleveland. “Our partnership with Greater Cleveland Food Bank will benefit our neighbors in Northeast Ohio.”

Hosted by Q104 morning show co-hosts Bill Ryan and Alyssa Rose, the Request-a-Thon was broadcast live from the Q104 Studios from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET on Friday, December 13. During Q104’s 12 hour broadcast, Ryan and Rose showcased the resources and services provided by the Greater Cleveland Foodbank to Northeast Ohio residents. Listeners could also call in and request any song they’d like to hear on the station when they make a $40 donation.

Q104’s Request-a-thon is a part of Audacy’s commitment to making a meaningful difference at scale. Audacy uses its reach and personal connection with listeners to advance causes that promote strong mental health and build sound communities.
