Just as one would expect, Hubbard Broadcasting's WTMX Mix 101.9 has nosedived in the just-released October PPMs from Nielsen. A drop of 22 percent among women 25-54 is the result of recent allegations again longtime morning persona Eric Ferguson.
The ratings drop results in HotAC Mix 101.9 FM dropping from fifth to ninth among its target demo of woman 25-54.
Ferguson had not hosted the morning show during the most recent ratings month and last Friday announced his departure from the station after former co-workers went public with complaints of abusive behavior toward women.Again finishing first overall was WBBM 780-AM / WCFS 105.9-FM, the Audacy all-news combo and home of Chicago Bears football broadcasts, according to Chicago media writer Reobert Feder.
WBBM Newsradio also swept all four measured time periods, winning in mornings with Pat Cassidy, middays with Cisco Cotto, afternoons with Keith Johnson and Lisa Fielding, and evenings with Bob Conway and Andy Dahn.
