After 51 years as a radio mogul, Glenn Kalina has officially announced his retirement Monday morning at Classic hits WOGL 98.1 FM in Philadelphia.
The 71-year-old Kalina started his career in Philadelphia in 1978 at WZZD 990 AM (now AM 990 The Answer) joined WOGL fulltime in 2019. Kalina had earlier worked at WOGL as a fill-in and weekend host.
Kalina started his career at WICK in Scranton in 1970 and has worked at a number of notable stations in the Philly area, among them WCAU-FM, Q102, ALICE 104.5, and Mix 95.7, throughout his four-plus-decade career.
