Bay Area Radio: KGMZ Adds AM Simulcast

Entercom announced Tueday the launch of sports content on KGMZ 1550 AM The Game in San Francisco.

The (KZDG) AM station will simulcast content from sister station 95.7-FM in San Francisco. In addition, KGMZ 1550 will broadcast Oakland Athletics play-by-play during scheduling conflicts with Golden State Warriors playoff games.

“With the overlap of play-by-play between our athletic partners, we launched sports content on the AM frequency to provide our fans with more options to listen to all of their favorite games,” said Gregory Nemitz, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Entercom San Francisco. “This also gives us the opportunity in the future to create additional exclusive programming on 1550-AM to super serve Bay Area sports fans.”
