KINK 101.9 FM announced Monday they raised over $103,000 for the Union Gospel Mission during their Radiothon last Thursday, November 20th held at the Bing Lounge in Portland, Oregon.
$103,000 dollars equates to over 53,000 meals to feed and care for the homeless in Portland.
Alpha Media Executive VP of Programming, Scott Mahalick commented on the announcement, “I’m deeply touched to live in such a generous city that is willing to come together and support those in need, especially during the holidays.”

“In the 25 years I have worked at Union Gospel Mission, I found the KINK team to be the most energetic and supportive as they mobilized their loyal audience to impact the hungry, homeless and poor with their tremendous generosity. 53,921 meals and care were provided by KINK listeners,” remarked Bill Russell, executive director at Union Gospel Mission.
