Orlando Radio: K92 Returns As King Of The Hill

It’s been six years, but Country WWKA K92 has returned to the #1 spots 6+ in the latest Orlando PPMs as released Friday by Arbitron. Orlando will be hosting the annual NAB/RAB Radio Show next week.

Cox Media’s K92 moved 6.6—7.7 to move by CBS Radio’s Classic Hits WOCL / Sunny 105.9 FM, which moved 7.2—6.8. Sunny had been #1 for the previous two PPM reports.

Cluster-mate hot AC WOMX Mix 105..1 FM placed third with a 5.6—6.3 move. Tied at #3 is Central Florida Educational Foundation’s Contemporary Christian non-com WPOZ Z88.3  5.8—6.3.  Cox’s urban AC “Star” (6.9-5.8-5.9) WCFB Star94.5 FM is in fifth place 5.8—5.9.

After a day-off from releasing market PPMs because of the Jewish New Year holiday, Arbitron Friday released August PPMs for 12 more markets.
