K-C Radio: The Wolf Confirms New Morning Show Launch

Audacy’s 106.5 The Wolf (WDAF-FM) in Kansas City has confirmed a revamped weekday lineup. “Jenny and Jagger in the Morning,” featuring Jenny Matthews, Jagger and Matt Gapske, will debut on September 9 and can be heard from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. CT.

Katie Neal, host of “Katie & Company,” will continue to be heard weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. CT. Scotty Kay, also heard on US99 (WUSN-FM) in Chicago, 102.9 The Wolf (KMNB-FM) in Minneapolis and 107.7 & 104.7 The Wolf (WLKK-FM) in Buffalo, will join the station in afternoons from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. CT. The station will continue to air “Rob and Holly” from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. CT.

The new weekday programming lineup is as follows.
  • 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. CT: Jenny Matthews, Jagger and Matt Gapske
  • 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. CT: "Katie & Company" with Katie Neal
  • 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. CT: “The Scotty Kay Show”
  • 7:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. CT: “The Rob and Holly Show”
Jenny Matthews has been a Kansas City radio personality since 2004, building her career on authenticity, humor, and heart—earning her reputation as everyone’s on-air best friend. She kicked off her radio journey in West Palm Beach, FL, before making Kansas City her home.

Jagger has been on air in some of America’s biggest cities, including New York, Houston, Hartford, Salt Lake City and Indianapolis. In 2008, he created the award-winning syndicated show “The Weekend Throwdown with Jagger,” and is now heard in over 45 cities across the U.S.

Matt Gapske is a seasoned radio professional with over a decade of experience in programming and production. He currently serves as the Executive Producer and Assistant Program Director for Audacy in Kansas City. Gapske got his start at sister station 99.7 The Point (KZPT-FM) and was part of the original team back in 2011.

ACM award-winning, Marconi nominee and CMA finalist Katie Neal is the host and spirited voice behind “Katie & Company.” Every weekday, Katie is joined by Country’s biggest stars like Luke Combs, Carrie Underwood, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson and Tim McGraw, to name a few, who co-host Katie’s Superstar Power Hour. It features hit songs by the artist, the stories behind their new music, and a mixture of thoughtful and lighthearted conversation. “Katie and Company” is heard nationwide on 36 stations, including 20 Audacy stations.

Scotty Kay is a three-time Academy of Country Music nominee and two-time Country Music Association nominee. On the radio, Kay started his journey at 103.5 Kiss FM in Chicago and has also been heard on Power 96.1 in Atlanta, Hot 93.3 in Dallas, US99 in Chicago, 102.9 The Wolf (KMNB-FM) in Minneapolis, 107.7 & 104.7 The Wolf in Buffalo and others. He also hosts a nationally syndicated weekend show.
