Engineers are Cox Media Groups cluster in Orlando are working to find out why main power generators failed during a commercial power failure Wednesday afternoon.
According to The Orlando Sentinel, seven radio stations were off-air for about 25-minutes when power was lost at their studio location, knocking out computers and phones.
Affected stations were Country, WWKA 92.3 FM K92, Sports WDBO 580 AM, N/T WDBO 96.5 FM, Classic Hits WMMO 98.9 FM, UrbanAC WCFB 94.5 Star FM, Hip Hop WPYO 95.3 FM and Alternative X107.3 T-FM.

Two diesel generators earlier "failed to kick in, depriving the stations of all power to all systems."
