Taylor Swift has been named the Biggest-Selling Global Artist of 2025 by the IFPI (International Federation of the Phonographic Industry), marking her fourth consecutive year at the top and her sixth time overall winning the award.
The achievement solidifies Swift's unprecedented dominance in the recorded music industry. The IFPI Global Artist Chart ranks artists based on total global consumption of their entire catalog including physical sales, digital downloads, and streaming (paid and ad-supported) converted into standardized chart units accounting for regional differences.
Swift's win comes after a massive 2025 driven by her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, which achieved record-breaking sales and chart performance, along with strong ongoing streams from her catalog and related content like the documentary miniseries The End of an Era about her Eras Tour.
The IFPI highlighted that Swift has now claimed the award as many times as all other artists combined over the past decade.
