The third-generation President of Mid-West Family Broadcasting is transitioning to the role of Chairman of the Board.
Dave Doetsch, with nearly 30 years at the company and former General Manager for its South Bend, Ind., and Southwest Michigan stations, has been appointed as Chief Operating and Revenue Officer, overseeing sales and revenue across all markets.
As part of this transition, Mid-West Family is now looking for a new Market General Manager for Michigan and Indiana.

Tom Walker will shift his focus to governance and strategic direction, stepping back from daily operations of the family-founded company.
Additionally, Kim DiGiovanni has been promoted to Market General Manager for the Rockford stations from her previous role as VP/Director of Sales.
The Board of Directors has also been restructured, with Doetsch and Paterson joined by new members Randy Hawke, Brian Jackson, and Jen O’Brien. Hawke took over from Walker as Market General Manager in Madison at the end of 2024, while Jackson and O’Brien are from the La Crosse, Wisc., market.
After selling its Springfield, Ill., stations to Woodward Communications, Mid-West Family will continue operations in Eau Claire, La Crosse, and Madison, Wisc.; Rockford, Ill.; Springfield, Mo.; St. Joseph-Benton Harbor, Mich.; and South Bend, Ind., managing 41 broadcast stations once the sale is complete.
