WI Radio: WBOG Flips To BOG Country Oldies

Magnum.Media has announced its WBOG 101.3 FM/ 1460 AM Tomah, WI is now airing 80’s, 90’s & Early 2000’s Country. The station is branding as “BOG Country.”

Local native, Robin Jon Olson, who played his first Country record on the radio in 1980, and joined Magnum.Media in 2002, is returning to the airwaves to host Mornings from 5-9a. Robin Jon stated, “After two years focused on the sales and production side of radio, I’m excited about adding back to my duties being on the air. Hard to believe I played those 80's Country songs as current hits, and now I get to play them again. A lot of great Country music came out in the 80’s, 90’s and early 2000’s. By focusing on this era of Country music, BOG Country isn’t in direct competition with another station in our market. As to the signal, we put the 101.3 translator on top of our 500’ TV tower which sits on one of the highest ground elevation points in Wisconsin, so at 2,000’, it really sails.”

WBOG is clustered with sister radio stations Mix 96.1 & 107.3 WXYM, Classic Rock 94.5 WTMB and Class A TV station KQEG.
