NYC Radio: The Lite Still Shines

As all expected, iHeartMedia’s WLTW 106.7 FM has come back to earth following the holiday book. However, there is an upside.

According to the January PPMs (1/1-1/28) released Tuesday by Nielsen, AC WLTW dropped 13.5—7.4 (6+ AQH), but remains in the top spots in the market.  Also the 7.4 is up nicely from the same month a year ago, 6.5.

CBS Radio Classic Hits WCBS 101.1 FM had an up month, following two downers. CBS-FM was up 6.2—6.4 to remain #2. Urban AC WBLS 107.5 FM hangs in at #3 thanks for a 5.8—6.1 performance. SBS Tropical WSKQ 97.9 FM LA MEGA is in the #4 spot after slipping 5.6—5.5. And  iHM’s Top 40 WHTZ 100.3 FM Z100 enjoyed an uptick 5.0—5.1 to end up at #5.
