The pair, who have anchored the remains of "The Opie and Anthony Show" since Anthony Cumia was fired, had contracts that expired at the end of September.
Instead of letting them expire, however, the duo has signed new deals to stay on the air at SiriusXM.

It's a bittersweet moment for Opie and Jim along with their fans, according to emptylighthouse.com. The pair expressed happiness to still have jobs, but sadness at doing the show without Cumia, who was fired after remarks he made on Twitter.
Opie and Anthony were partners for over 20 years and, while this new deal suggests they won't be getting back together anytime soon, Opie did hold out some hope.
He said that he had spoken to SiriusXM executive Scott Greenstein about Cumia returning to the show and the company had asked for more time, but did not close the door completely.
Cumia is currently hosting his own subscription-based video and audio show at AnthonyCumia.com. Norton has appeared as a guest twice, but Opie has yet to make an appearance.
