K-Love Inc., a subsidiary of the Educational Media Foundation, has agreed to purchase two Milwaukee radio stations, AC “B93.3” WLDB and Alternative “FM 102.1” WLUM-FM, from the Milwaukee Radio Alliance for $4 million.
K-Love already operates its flagship Christian contemporary “K-Love” network on Class A 105.3 WLVE in Mukwonago, Wisconsin, and this acquisition expands its presence in the Milwaukee market.
The Milwaukee Radio Alliance, a partnership between Times-Shamrock Communications and All Pro Broadcasting, previously owned WLDB, which broadcasts an adult contemporary format, and WLUM-FM, known for its alternative music programming.
The sale marks a significant shift for these stations, which have been locally operated and featured well-known on-air personalities like Melissa Jordan and Jon Adler, both of whom recently departed amid changes at the Alliance.
