Audacy’s annual “I’m Listening” broadcast, marking World Suicide Prevention Day and National Suicide Prevention Month, will air the week of September 10 across all Audacy stations.
Hosted by Carson Daly (NBC’s “TODAY,” “The Voice”) and Audacy’s Country host Katie Neal, the program features Dr. Alfiee M. Breland-Noble (The AAKOMA Project) and Dr. Christine Yu Moutier (AFSP). It will include discussions on social media, AI, kids, families, veterans, first responders, postpartum depression, and more, with celebrity guests like Cynthia Erivo, Alex Warren, Kane Brown, LISA, JENNIE, Lewis Capaldi, Kylie Minogue, Shirley Manson, Tate McRae, 311, Benny Blanco, Amy Lee, and Ne-Yo.
Audacy’s Dave Richards, Senior Vice President of Programming, emphasized radio’s power to foster compassionate conversations, support, and community.
Beyond the broadcast, Audacy has raised over $2 million for partners like AFSP through events like the We Can Survive concert, featuring Ed Sheeran, Goo Goo Dolls, Alex Warren, and Shaboozey on September 26 at Prudential Center, Newark, NJ. Proceeds support AFSP’s “Talk Away the Dark” campaign and other programs.
