Baltimore Radio: WPOC Adds Morning Show Co-Host

iHeartMedia Baltimore’s 93.1 WPOC has named Candace Dold co‑host of its new weekday morning show, Michael J & Candace In The Morning, airing 6–10 a.m. effective immediately, the station announced.

Dold joins veteran host Michael J — who is set for induction into the Country Radio Hall of Fame in 2026 — after filling in as a guest host during the station’s search; iHeartMedia Region SVP of Programming Jeff Kapugi cited her on‑air chemistry with Michael J as the deciding factor. She will report to Kapugi.

A Maryland native, Dold returns to Baltimore broadcasting after working at WBFF (FOX45) from 2005–2019 as a reporter, anchor and host of the lifestyle program B’More Lifestyle. She said she’s excited to return to a station she grew up listening to and to join listeners’ morning routines.
