Gulf Coast Radio: WABD Continues Holiday Tradition With Stuff-A-Bus

Cumulus Media’s 97.5 WABD, the Gulf Coast’s #1 Hit Music Station, announces that it has proudly wrapped its annual Stuff-A-Bus 2025, a week-long charitable initiative dedicated to spreading love, giving, and holiday cheer throughout the Mobile County community during the holiday season. 97.5 WABD Stuff-A-Bus 2025 was sponsored by Netherland Air Conditioning.

On Tuesday, December 2nd, 97.5 WABD On-Air Host Mojo (Weekdays, 10am-2pm) moved into a full-sized Mobile County school bus parked outside Walmart in Tillman’s Corner (5245 Rangeline Service Rd. S, Mobile, AL), and refused to leave the bus until it was completely packed with community donations of new toys for children of all ages. Decked out in his now-famous Christmas onesie for an entire week, with no nights off and no warm bed, Mojo had just one mission: To make sure every child on the Gulf Coast wakes up to a Merry Christmas.

On Monday, December 9th, Mojo’s mission was accomplished. Thanks to the incredible generosity of listeners, sponsors, and community partners, Mojo and friends raised over 2,000 toys for area kids. Throughout the week-long community effort, 97.5 WABD broadcasted live 24/7 until the bus was filled to overflowing with toys for local children.

Don Boyd, Regional Vice President/Market Manager, Cumulus Mobile/Pensacola, said: “When it comes to commitment, our programming and promotions team is second to none. Mojo’s dedication to serving the community — even living on a bus to make it happen — is proof of the power of live, local radio. It’s what sets our brands apart and keeps us connected where it matters most.”

Vincent "Mojo" Wilson, On-Air Host, 97.5 WABD, and Regional Operations Manager/Program Director, Cumulus Mobile, AL/Pensacola, FL commented: “We thank our generous and big-hearted listeners and community for coming out to stuff the bus full of toys this year to bring so many children a happier holiday. All toys donated will go to local Gulf Coast families who need a little extra help this holiday season. Thanks to you, every child in our community has a reason to smile on Christmas morning.”
