Tampa Radio: 97X Unveils Line-Up for 'Next Big Thing'

WSUN 97X (97.1) Tampa has annouced the 19th annual 97X Next Big Thing, Sunday, Nov. 24, 2019, at The MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa. Tickets go on sale next Friday, Aug. 23, 2019 at 10 a.m. EST.

97X Next Big Thing is the Southeast’s largest and longest running alternative music festival. This year’s lineup includes The 1975, AJR, Judah & The Lion, The Revivalists, and Silversun Pickups.  They will be joined by SHAED, Morgxn, White Reaper, The Band Camino, Twin XL and Smith & Thell with the potential of more artists being announced.

“97X Next Big Thing is more than just a show to Tampa Bay – it is a memory-making machine and has been a tradition our listeners have grown up with over the last 19 years,” says Jenna Kesneck, director of branding & programming for 97X. “Having the opportunity to see bands like AJR and Judah & The Lion return back to the NBT stage in a big way is an honor and we take pride in supporting bands throughout their entire careers. Introducing their music to Tampa Bay and then evolving with them as a partner captures the essence of what 97X is all about.”

97X Next Big Thing is open to all ages. Tickets go on sale next Friday, Aug. 23 at 10 a.m. EST via Ticketmaster with prices starting at $35 plus service charges, sales tax and facility fee.
