Luke Combs is anything but brokenhearted these days. He is, however, breaking records with his new music.
The country singer’s new single “Beer Never Broke My Heart” was released May 8, and it’s already his sixth top 10 hit. The song was streamed more than 11 million times its first week on the market, the highest in history for a country singer.
The record previously belonged to Sam Hunt’s “Body Like a Backroad,” which earned 7 million streams in the same time frame. Combs currently has the top two spots on Billboard's country streaming songs chart, which means fans have likely listened to "Beautiful Crazy" and "Beer Never Broke My Heart" more than 20 million times in the last week.
According to The Tennessean, more new music from Combs is less than one month away. He revealed Tuesday his much-anticipated EP “The Prequel” will be available June 7.
